Tyrone, again a great video. I am advised by many of my friends to use online websites to manage my staffs but i am not very sure which one is the best. You have also sited jing, dot project, active. What you suggest the most. I have gone through the video only so sorry for asking again if you mentioned that in audio already.

The videos have recommended these programs: Jing, dot project, Google Apps, and the ActiveCollab and all of them are so easy to use though it would depend according to your needs in enabling management with the tasks and with your staff. Here are some of the comparisons for you: -Jing Project is a new tool from TechSmith that makes screen capturing and screencasting easier by providing the one simple program for both. With Jing, you can capture what you want to say with a picture or a video instantly which is simply suited for tutorials. -DotProject is basically helpful through its wide applications and user interface such as User Management, Ticketing Support System provided via email, Client Management, Task listing, etc. which is most likely to be your wide organizer all-in-one. -Google Apps is a complete set of Google applications including Gmail, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs and Sites. Its Standard Edition is free, offering the same amount of storage as regular Gmail accounts. The Premier Edition however, offers 25 GB of e-mail storage but requires payment. -ActiveCollab is a free, open source project management web application along the lines of 37signals' Basecamp. The main difference between the two, as far as I can see, is that Basecamp costs anywhere from free (for a very limited, one-project account) to $149/month, while activeCollab has no such limitations and is free. You can install activeCollab on any server with PHP5 and MySQL, so if you've ever installed Wordpress you should be fine (even if you haven't, it's relatively easy). I've put a person (myself) into the system twice but can't see where or how to delete one of the entries. Is it set up so that every person entered is there forever or is there a simple way to delete an entry?

Hi Des,
I thought this has been fixed already because the adding options for users may also have the choice to delete them. |

Hi Des,
Sorry for the inconvenience. It would be much helpful if you could send a ticket at the Asknreply Helpdesk. Also, make sure to put your ticket under "Technical Support" so that our programmers will have to check at it too. Thanks. Last edited by joannac; 21-12-2009 at 02:16 PM. |
